The National Energy Corporation of South Africa (NECSA) is looking for young graduates under the age of 35 to join their internship program in the following positions:
1. Electronics Artisan (Red Seal) – Internship
- Division: Research and Innovation
- Department: Applied Chemistry
- Duration: 12 months
- Salary: Intern Stipend
- Specialization Area: Energy Storage and Fluorine Research
- Number of Interns Needed: 1
- Required Qualification: Artisan – Red Seal (ELECTRONICS)
Key Competencies:
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office)
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and time management
- Knowledge of electronics, including:
- Industrial Electronics – Understanding power supplies, inverters, and control systems
- Wiring & Installation – Knowledge of electrical wiring, panel building, and cable management
- Ability to troubleshoot minor problems on facilities/instruments
- Willingness to learn construction of laboratory chemical process systems
