  1. Parliamentary and Cabinet Support (Ref No: 012)
    • Salary: R849,702 per annum (Level 11), all-inclusive package.​
    • Location: Head Office.​
    • Requirements: National Diploma in Politics/Administration or relevant qualification (NQF level 6) with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience at Assistant Director or middle management level. A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.​
    • Key Competencies: Knowledge of ministry operations, political and parliamentary processes in South Africa, public service policies, and the minerals and petroleum resources sector. Skills in communication, computer literacy, problem-solving, interpersonal liaison, negotiation, and editing are essential.​
    • Duties: Managing parliamentary processes, liaising with MPs, councillors, and parliamentary committees, supporting parliamentary study groups, and engaging with stakeholders.​

  2. Administrative Support and Coordination (Ref No: 013)
    • Salary: R849,702 per annum (Level 11), all-inclusive package.​
    • Location: Head Office.​
    • Requirements: National Diploma in Public Administration or relevant qualification (NQF level 6) with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience at Assistant Director or middle management level, specifically in a political and parliamentary environment in South Africa.​
    • Key Competencies: Understanding of ministry operations, political and parliamentary processes, public service policies, and the minerals and petroleum sector. Proficiency in communication, computer literacy, problem-solving, organizational skills, and interpersonal liaison.​
    • Duties: Managing administrative activities within the executive authority’s office, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, rendering cabinet/executive council support services, and supervising employees.​

  3. Registry Clerk (Ref No: 014)
    • Salary: R216,417 per annum (Level 05).​
    • Location: Head Office.​
    • Requirements: Grade 12 certificate (NQF level 4) with no prior experience required.​
    • Key Competencies: Understanding of the National Archives Act and regulations, familiarity with ministry operations, and proficiency in operating office equipment like fax machines and photocopiers. Skills in communication, computer literacy, registry management, and organization.​
    • Duties: Managing the registry by developing and maintaining a proper filing system, disposing of documents appropriately, opening and closing files, and ensuring proper document filing. Developing and maintaining a database of clients/service providers, handling correspondence, and executing other assigned duties.​
