Job Title: Regional Operations Manager – Cash Processing

Reporting to: Regional Manager
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Purpose of the Role

To oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of cash processing facilities within the assigned region. This includes ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to security protocols, staff management, and meeting client expectations in a professional and timely manner. The role is aligned with the broader objectives of the company and the Cash Processing division.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • PSIRA Grade B registration and accreditation
  • Clear criminal record
  • Preferably a formal qualification or training in banking or cash processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise use of staff and equipment to meet company objectives, minimise risk, and maximise returns
  • Manage and monitor regional income and expenditure within allocated budgets; provide variance explanations where necessary
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain staff across the region
  • Plan, allocate, and oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational tasks
  • Supervise middle and junior management to ensure effective execution of duties in line with company policy
  • Mentor, motivate, and lead regional staff to achieve aligned business goals
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service delivery standards are upheld
  • Liaise with internal management teams on operational and financial matters
  • Manage HR and payroll-related queries efficiently
  • Oversee and execute disciplinary procedures when required
  • Submit relevant operational reports to senior management and clients on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Matric / Senior Certificate

  • Prior experience in CIT (Cash-in-Transit) operations or vehicle tracking (advantageous)
