Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Nursing (General Nursing & Midwifery)
  • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse with Midwifery
  • Current SANC receipt (proof of 2025 registration)
  • Certificate of Service from current and previous employers (required when shortlisted)

  • Excellent public speaking, listening, and report writing skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with learners and colleagues

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HPV vaccination stations during the school campaign
  • Administer vaccines safely and ensure cold chain compliance
  • Supervise team members and volunteers in learner registration and logistics
  • Distribute consent forms to schools and gather pre-vaccination data
  • Develop a micro plan for the HPV campaign based on learner enrolment
  • Ensure availability of vaccination registers and supplies
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards
  • Monitor, report, and manage Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI)
  • Compile, verify, and submit daily vaccination data to the Nursing Service Manager
